Bernd Kammholz serves as Chief Technologist for the Automotive industry in EMEA with a strong footprint in Germany. The focus is on connected cars and mass data management solutions for autonomous vehicles with requirements e.g. for Artificial Intelligence solutions.

In his role as Chief Technologist, Bernd Kammholz develops visions and solutions with customers and partners. He works as strategic advisor in several projects and customers and helps HPE’s clients to successfully adapt and take advantage of ever-changing world of technologies.

As the automotive industry is rapidly changing its technology and business models, there is a big need for IT and IoT in and around vehicles to get the data, transfer, analyze, store and make decisions out of it. This is essential for autonomous driving, connected cars, electrification and others. He is completely understanding these requirements and driving them towards solutions with clients on all levels.

Bernd Kammholz served as Cloud Chief Technologist in 2016 and worked with large customers on IaaS/PaaS solutions.
Bernd Kammholz has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and extensive knowledge in management software, cloud and IoT solutions. During this time, he was responsible and thought leader for software discovery solutions. Bernd is one of the authors of the first Tivoli system management software solutions book (Redbook by IBM).

He holds a Graduate Engineer certification in Computer Science at the dual study university of Stuttgart, Germany.
Bernd is based in Boeblingen, Germany.
